Guys you are completely of about tradesmen. We do not want government interfere with us. And we are smarter then you office rats. We look at you like low level life. I do not know about unions, but most of us aren't in union any way. Immigration legal or illegal cannot do nothing to me.

Supply and demand, maybe? More workers and fewer jobs. Less workers and more jobs could cause wages to go up.

The bill not only gives amnesty to 11-30 million illegals but doubles the H1-B visas and creates a new J-Visa for unskilled workers to come here.

There will be no shortage of workers once amnesty passes and none of these folks are mandated to be covered by Obamacare hence employers will seek them out.

Tradesmen vote for who ever their union overlords tell them to vote for. Most of my family is in trades so I see this first hand.
When my brother was an apprentice in trade school, instead of them teaching class they made all the apprentices man phone banks to call to get out the votes for Obama.

Tradesmen vote Democrat because Democrats are more for the working people and will not eliminate Social Security and Medicare which are 2 things that are very important to blue collar workers.

No. Not at all. But the Democrats are far less likely to intentionally damage working people than are the Republicans. The Republicans have no use at all for anybody but millionaires. The Democrats, while they are not much help, do not damage.

Doubling the H1-B Visa quota won't damage working people ?
Creating a new W-Visa for unskilled foreign workers won't damage working people ?

That's what the Senate Immigration bill does.
