People with employer insurance will see their rates skyrocket to pay for all the same BS you're reading about today. Plus the insurers will be bleeding cash by then from a lack of participation by the 20 and 30 somethings who are needed for bilking.

All of this will be hitting the headlines next October. Employers have no reason to hide the news from their employees until after the election. If anything, the opposite incentive exists.

The Dems are toast.

I think as we have seen from the disastrous roll out and the revelation of lies that some people might see that the Democrats own an equal measure of the shut down.
As for will congress be impacted? Hardliners will vote party line no matter what. The free thinkers and there are very few might make a difference.

The mainstream media and the internet surfing Obamabots (such as those posting on this site) are in a frenzy trying to do damage control and regurgitating more lies and propaganda about how great this law is. To all those whose policies are getting cancelled or whose premiums have/will increase it doesn't matter though. They are pissed off and just itching for a chance to make their voices heard next November. The Dems in Congress know it and are very much scared of what 2014 brings. This is why many of them are starting to call for a delay of the individual mandate. They don't give a damn about the harm that is being done to the American people but they are prepared to do and say whatever it takes to keep their place in Congress. It looks like it may be too little too late though. When it finally gets here the 2014 midterms may have Dems thinking of the 2010 midterms as the good all days.

Should'nt the real question be how many teapartiers will be sent packing for closing the government?

How Many Democrats in Congress will Lose their Seats over Obamacare

How many MORE Democrats will lose their seats, you mean?

63 of them already got booted out in 2010, mostly due to their support of Obamacare.

And that was before "we found out what was in it", as Pelosi said.

Now that the American people are discoveing just how bad the whole program is, and how many lies the Democrats told them to get them to "like" it, 2014 election might make 2010 look like a Democrat picnic.

That was before people found out the hard way, just how miserable the program was, and how much the Democrats had lied to them to get it passed.

By election time, the shutdown will be old news and both sides are blamed for the shutdown. Obamacare will once again be in the headlines as the extensions near expiration and more people are hit with the reality of what has happened to their health care. Democrats OWN the ACA..... Every last page of it.

How Many Democrats in Congress will Lose their Seats over Obamacare?

Hopefully every one of them.
I don't say that in a partisan vein because one not up for re-election in 2014 that I voted for, decided to blindly follow the liberal leadership of Pelosi and Reid and vote for Obamacare. He actually had the nerve to parrot what Pelosi said about not knowing what was in it before he voted for it.

Never in our history has one party rammed through a totally partisan program that did not receive even one vote from the other party on such a large and sweeping law that will effect every single citizen. This of course despite the majority of Americans in poll after poll saying they did not want them too. It was the ultimate show of arrogance and disregard of what the people and the other party had to say. So they should pay a price just like many of them already did in 2010.

And with more people being covered with good insurance policies, more people will realize that they are better off than before, so yes, the Democrats do OWN the ACA and it will show when they win more seats in Congress.
