CHARLES CITY, Va. (AP) — A reflective President Bush on Monday honored acts of everyday decency and supreme sacrifice, and called on Americans to give back to their communities.
In his first speech dedicated to Thanksgiving, Bush said the holiday is a time to hail — and emulate — those who serve causes larger than themselves. He cited police, firefighters, teachers and religious leaders as examples.

Acts of decency and supreme sacrifice... I wonder if Bush has a clue of what those two words even mean. No, sacrificing a bottle of Gin in a Houston bar does not constitute decency.
how about asking Cheney and the Oil companies to give back some of they money they took from Americans

What have they done thus far? Gained an impressive approval rating of 11% Lower than GWB's LOL
They have had just about a year to get something accomplished. Other than nonbinding resolutions which = waste of time, they have done nothing.

Agrred... Our democraticly elected public officials should sacrifice their heath insurance and use the money saved as a strting point for the poor. I do mean all of the elected officials.

Cheney and the oil companies ,ha hah aha , you mean ALL of the oil companys? is Cheney in charge of ALL the oil companies? are the oil companies one monolithic group like the "religious right"? They actually TOOK money from the American people? how did they do that? was there any weapons involved?
