You are showing a pie chart for discretionary spending - a pie chart that deliberately cuts out what the poster was saying was the problem. I hope this was out of ignorance and not out of an attempt to lie on your part.

P.S. Historically the vast majority of educational funding comes from the state and local level - in fact 100% use to come from there. So it is dishonest to make a point about military funding versus educational funding only looking at federal dollars.

Are you serious?

Obama has increased Economic QE Stimulus, which forces interest rates down and artificially helps the Stock Market and Housing Market in the process.

Obama's Fed is creating $85,000,000,000.00 a month - every month - to keep those 401Ks afloat...why do you think the stock market takes a dip when they talk about gently winding down this insane policy that can't go on forever?

I am really surprised by the stunning ignorance of Obama supporters...most of which don't even know what QE is... That is one problem with the media...too much of the media "picks a side" (whether you realize it or not) and will ignore things that make their side look poor.

I'm not sure he can make it any worse than it already is....... and he refuses to tackle the big issues like food stamp/welfare/Medicaid reform because his welfare base won't allow him to.....he demonizes businesses that are actually making profits in this Obama economy......... so what's the point?

What could he possibly say or do to shore up the economy before the end of his term?

Five years is plenty of time to build economic credibility. I don't know of anyone who seriously considers this President an economic policy powerhouse. I'm thinking he should shut up and do what he does best: Lead from the back of the pack.
I think he's a politician.

They're poor and dependent for a reason and it sure isn't because they are smart. Yet these "poor" people think they understand money and what's best for the economy. BAAA HAAAA HAAAA

If they did understand how money works they wouldn't be struggling and poor. DUH!

Its really a demented view of things isn't it. It's also kind of strange that Obama has made it clear that he hates small business and everything he does hurts businesses. Strange how Obama's economy depends on the very people he demonizes. Maybe when this anti-business ass is out of office.

And what's the point? You got that right. Why the hell should any business invest and take risks in the Obama economy. It doesn't make business sense. I wouldn't hire right now, it's survival mode for many.

You have it all wrong.

The Obama supporters I know are all victims.

They have crippling debt, not because of personal choices, but because corporations and the 1% exploit them.

My wife's company has gotten conflicting information on how Obamacare will exactly be implemented in certain scenarios and one source is saying that the courts will have to solve their particular problem...

Businesses love confusion and not knowing how to plan for the future, thanks Obama!

ummmmmmmmmmm............................. the chart you showed is DISCRETIONARY spending, which, by definition, excludes entitlements.

Day after day on this site, I am beginning to appreciate how Obama was re-elected.

Yes Obama is a politician that ran as bringing Hope and Change, Change you can Believe in, Transparency, Honesty, etc... His supporters, many in the flock still buy into this tripe.

Obama might be the most disingenuous politician out there...constantly telling half truths, lying, distorting, playing games, etc...

He can do it, because his supporters refuse to actually hold him accountable for anything. He even lied about the circumstances of his mother's death for political points and when the Washington Post called him out for it and contacted his campaign...Obama doubled down on the lie, because he knows most of his supporters are ignorant and won't ever find out that its a lie and the few that do will explain it away and justify it. Obama knows he can get away with being disingenuous non-stop.

LOLOLOL Not because of personal choices??? You and only YOU allowed yourself to be exploited because you wanted something you couldn't afford. Hey I want stuff I can't afford but I understand that so I pass. "YOU" made bad choices and now you are suffering the fallout. I might have felt bad for you but when the same people who made bad choices voted for Obama and cheered as he raised taxes, you were again exploited by Obama, I don't have one ounce of sympathy for you.

People act as if they had guns held to their heads when they made bad choice.

Hey I agree with you. There was a bit of sarcasm in my post.

However, that is what I always hear from Obama supporters that I know in person. They complain about debt, low income, credit card bills, etc... It is always someone else's fault... It is always the big bad companies, the rich guys, Romney's fault for their position as they make poor choices with their money.
