I'm going to predict that there are some more very embarrassing news about to be released and much like Shulman resigning from the IRS she likely wants to get away while she can.

Looking at the timing, I suspect she's setting herself up to run for something next year? What's up in AZ in '14?

Only the Governor's job, but the same is true in California. Odd timing - I agree, it sure looks like she is jumping ship. This was not predicted at all.

The only thing I'm seeing right now about Homeland Security is the Senate Investigation into the (acting) Inspector General. It's incredible how many of these departments have "acting" IG's that are abusing their authority and even falsifying reports - Homeland Security is one of those. Homeland Security is one of the departments (Defense is the worst) that can't pass the annual Government Audit because they have NO CLUE about where the money goes. Defense, Homeland Security & Health and Human Services can't pass the audit for this reason. Defense has never passed the annual audit since the audit law was passed.

Group Wants Obama to Fire Homeland Security Watchdog AND

Homeland Security watchdog is under investigation by Senate panel - July 2, 2013

Is Obama going to make the big announcement or is this the Friday News Dump?
