Under Janet Napolitano the DHS has spiraled out of control. Listen to this whistleblower if you want your blood to boil.

Oh and here's one of the top comments that I'm quoting because it's so poignant.
Quote:
It's become common knowledge that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is blatantly corrupt but journalists are just too scared to report it. Do a little research on "Fusion Centers" and you'll learn that $1,400,000,000 appropriated for them has mysteriously gone missing! Jim Risen (charged by the US government under the Espionage Act) wrote a story about this in the NY Times but most of the corporate media has tried to ignore it.

she was about as useful as two breasts on a steer. Remember that airport debacle with security what was it the guy who had the explosives in his boxers, she was clueless said our policies are working. Make the new appointee Deborah A. P. Hersman she seems to have it together with the NTSB, and is easy on the eyes

I forgot to link the source in my previous post.

Quote:
The investigators also discovered that federal officials cannot account for as much as $1.4 billion in taxpayer money earmarked for fusion centers and that some of the centers listed on paper by the Homeland Security Department do not even exist.

The O administration has turned all government functions into big looting operations. Woever replaces her will continue that.

And more Americans have had their, and their children's, junk grabbed in the process. She was praised for her handling of Boston - yet later we find they were warned twice about Tsarnev.

Default Janet Napolitano to step down from Homeland Security

Homeland Security Secretary Napolitano Stepping Down : The Two-Way : NPR

Glad to hear this. She was worthless anyway and a champion of unbridled illegal immigration into this country, despite her experience as a border state governor.

Although I didn't mind her as governor here in AZ, I just found her to be a hypocrite later on. As governor of AZ, she sent letters to the federal government (along with CA, NM, and TX governors) requesting that the feds pay back the states for the tax-payer costs to educate, hospitalize, and incarcerate illegal immigrants. When she became a part of the Obama adminstration, all of a sudden, the border issue wasn't as bad as it was previously...she sold out. People give Jan Brewer crap, but she basically continued what Janet Napolitano started.
