Why are so many posters hostile to a 'foreigner' commenting on US issues?

I think it depends on how you put your criticism. If you come across as a know-it-all trying to export your foreign system or values, naturally people will be hostile. Go to France and criticize that country, you will also be rejected.
I have not encountered much hostility so far, even most people who do not agree with me are usually not hostile.
Since many people in the US don't speak perfect English, either, you might as well keep your location to yourself and avoid that problem as opinions among Americans are so varied that they will think you are American, no matter what your views are.
most people simply don't care what foreigners think. it's all become redundant, to the point of annoyance. the citizens are tired of being badmouthed because of the actions of our politicians. elections are predetermined, and purchased. there is no real choice here. why, barack obama is simply general electric cyborg model 9-7A. seems that he hit that self destruct button about years too early though.
