If you can't be bothered to constructively contribute to your own thread, why should anyone else?

Define socialism?

European socialism where you still embrace capitalism or Karl Marx socialism as a stepping stone to communism?

There are thousands of political and economic systems thought up and availible.

Breaking it down to a coin flip, with zero definition, is childish in the extreme.

You forgot to add both or none of the above. I would pick both because a healthy balance between the two is best.

Can't have both.

Capitalism is simply economic activity with NO influence from government (except contract enforcement, fraud and crime prosecution etc.). There are currently no economic systems on the planet where pure capitalism is practiced.

Socialism, however the dictionary-obsessed weenies define it, is economic activity with LOTS of government influence.

Thanks for the glossy generic descriptions, and you can have both because most countries are functioning with both now.
