He demonstrated courage and served his country by exposing these crimes against Americans and American ideals. Treason constitutes aiding and abetting the enemy. Apparently the government believes the people are the enemy.

Snowden merely told the American people that the government is able to take anyone of us down through their network of data.

Just as they are taking down this whistleblower who challenges the government for their over reach into files, phones and data across the board on all Americans. Millions of us have been looked at as millions of phone records were scrutinized by our government.

I don't see the real evidence of people thanking him in any great numbers. If so he would have stayed and stood trial by those same people. Now he is showing his real colors in what he is releasing that are secrets not many wanted released.

Why yes they are, now that you ask!

We have been leaking everything we have them manufacture for us, from autos, to avionics, to satellite designs, to military grade rocket fuel. The US and EU are one gigantic leak at the highest levels.
Yeah, funny they always use the generic term "China". US govt has a ton of profit that comes out of their corps there.

When I was researching this. It was interesting how casually this Chinese employee was easily working for a govt agency, apparently sending back all kinds of info on govt projects and apparently over billing. LOL.

That's some thanks, 58% to 34% think he should be prosecuted.

Poll: Americans say Snowden should be prosecuted for NSA leaks, but views are complicated
