McCain, one of the fiercest critics of the Obama administration’s Syria policy, made the unannounced visit across the Turkey-Syria border with Gen. Salem Idris, the leader of the Supreme Military Council of the Free Syrian Army.
And what if the rebels likely turn against and use the supplied weapons against the US just as al-Qaeda did after the Soviet occupation of Afghanistan in the late 1980s? Their anti-al-Assad sentiment does not imply pro-US sentiment.
I suppose the military-industrial complex and the warmongers are happily rubbing their hands knowing that this situation could be used to instigate a future war against Syria.

McCain's been teeter-tottering on the edge of mental illness for years. Bringing him up to validate what Obama does is hardly a vote of confidence in Obama's decisions.
The only real manufacturing done domestically these days is in the making of weapons and war supplies. America has no choice but to go to war again and again...They know no other way.
Syria is in a Civil War.... well, not so civil, but we should work with an international coalition to try to minimize the death toll. US providing arms to one group of extremists over the other, makes no sense. Get Russia, China, Arab League to exert influence and cut arms shipment to all factions in Syria. Let them settle their own Civil War without the outside financial interests.

There are no good guys involved when it comes to one human being killing another human being to make their point. What America should do is have a campaign where anyone who wants to leave Syria can come to the states to escape the mayhem..If everyone left - all that would be left are people willing to kill and die for some crazed cause..let them destroy themselves.
