I think you panic too much. I always think when I hear this 1% of who the real 1% has always been in the history of nations from Rome onward. That 1% is the military. Here that 1% is sworn to uphold the constitution ;not support the president or anyone. That 1% is backed by million of veterans who I have no doubt where they will turn if they have to make such a decision.
As a "American of Cuban descent" I can assure you that Obama is no "Fidel Castro"! Americans are quite dumb when it comes to labels! There is a difference between "Socialism" ( A government that controls the means of production & manufacturing") and Social programs like Medicaid, Medicare, SS benefits,VA benefits, etc.
Obama has not "nationalized our "Oil" industry like Hugo Chavez did or confisctae property like "Fidel" did! Go back to school and learn the difference!

I've been wondering what Pres. Obama's plan is for 2016 and beyond. Remember that he said he wanted to be a 'transformative' president a la Ronald Reagan. Reagan did leave a movement to carry on, but he didn't really leave a successor. HW Bush was not much of a true believer conservative.
Doubtless Obama does not wish to repeat that mistake. So what's the plan? Elizabeth Warren 2016, maybe?

Ronny was a great president not because of his actions but because of he speak. That man loved this country and he espoused that every time he spoke. THAT is what is missing in government. We need a leader who loves the country not one who thinks our country is the problem. Times will change and hopefully the next one, if we get that far, cares more about the country than the party. Look where old Ron started from and turned to. He was the ONE. Not Obama. Too bad he's not around today to try and save what is left of this experiment.
