So you want the federal government to spend 8.6 billion instead of these states spending 1 billion?
Conservatives need to realize that most of the liberals that post this garbage do not pay taxes, get free housing, food stamp, cash assistance etc. They have no comprehension of the cost to provide these services nor, unfortunately, do they care.
Next time you read a moonbats post take notice that you will not see any mention of the cost of providing services. The reason for this is they don't contribute they only take as clearly evidenced by the OP's post. They have no dog in the fight and the more they take the better their lives become.

I'm beginning to see that Conservative = taxpayer, Liberal = government dependent.
It's seems absurd that someone would actually find a problem with lower government dependency. Liberals at least now admit that all they want is a huge welfare state where no one works for a living but lives off welfare handouts. They hate the taxpayers but they're utterly dependent on us.
I would support a Medicaid expansion IF (and this is a big if)it would include people that Medicaid doesn't generally help, like people who fell on hard times through no fault of their own. We have a growing problem with people losing jobs and either becoming unemployed or getting another job that doesn't offer medical. In fact most of the jobs I have been seeing don't offer medical. The problem though is these people are not covered by Medicaid and by expansion they usually mean giving more to the lazy people who choose not to work.
Current brand of GOP sure haven't been accused of being the brightest bulbs in the packet.
Bob, someone has to pay for this. Who is that? Again this isn't free money because the taxpayers of those states are still required to pay for it. Perhaps the dimmer bulbs think the funding comes from the money tree on the White House lawn but the brighter bulbs realize it's coming out of their pockets.

OR...
Conservative = taxpayer = don't tax me, and dont use my tax money for anything except what I deem necessary
Liberal = taxpayer = lets spread the money around so that we all can benefit
Americans are generally comfortable with the idea that health insurance should be tied to having a good job, subsidized by taxpayers.
How about tying Medicaid to employment for able-bodied individuals? The unemployed get food stamps only 3 monnths out of every (?) 36 months, how about the same for Medicaid?
Why should low-wage workers subsidize health insurance for the middle class while having no coverage of their own?

Oh, BS! How do you know what we pay or don't? What services we get or don't? I for one pay a hefty amount of money in taxes and I have never received any of the crap in your post.
States that choose not to expand Medicaid under federal health care reform will leave millions of their residents without health insurance and increase spending, at least in the short term, on the cost of treating uninsured residents, according to a new RAND Corporation study.
If 14 states decide not to expand Medicaid under the Affordable Care Act as intended by their governors, those state governments collectively will spend $1 billion more on uncompensated care in 2016 than they would if Medicaid is expanded.
IIRC, the RAND Corp is a conservative think-tank.
