What percentage of Ameicans believe that, if you leave leave Americans who are depending on you for support, undefended in the face of ongoing attacks that result in their deaths, that's OK as long as the people watching can't find that particular city on a map?

In addition to yourself, that is.

TOP MILITARY LEADER DISPUTES DIPLOMAT ON BENGHAZI

WASHINGTON (AP) -- The chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff said Wednesday that four members of Army special forces in Tripoli were never told to stand down after last year's deadly assault on the U.S. diplomatic mission in Benghazi, Libya, disputing a former top diplomat's claim that the unit might have helped Americans under siege..............

"They weren't told to stand down. A `stand down' means don't do anything," he said. "They were told that the mission they were asked to perform was not in Benghazi, but was at Tripoli airport."

So they claim they weren't told to "stand down" but rather "you aren't going to go and try and help them".

I think the point is, if they are as ignorant as all that, they are probably also ignorant of the facts of the assault- as YOU appear to be

Fox News is KILLING reasoned discourse in this country, man.

Despite what appears to be clear acts of criminal activity and incompetence in the Obama administration, I really doubt Obama will be impeached from any one of them. We have-

1. a supportive media
2. apathy among most citizens
3. lack of public exposure, and thus outrage
4. no special prosecutors
5. witnesses "pleading the 5th".

Who knows, but I doubt that anything will happen to Obama.

Or perhaps the US populace has grown up sufficiently to realize that sometimes bad sh.t happens in dangerous corners of the world. One can hope.

When you've had 9 separate Congressional hearings and nobody has managed to blurt out something scandalous, then it's time to let go.

What? They either cover it or they don't! If they talk about it, but don't air it, what good is it?

We've also had someone plead the 5th. Why do that if "nothing is there?"

IMO lies are pretty scandalous.

Why do you hate the US Constitution?

How many times did Saint Reagan and his cohorts claim that they couldn't recall any information about the Iran-Contra scandal?

Dodging questions during Congressional show trials is a time honored American tradition.
