Right out of the Alinsky playbook. Kind of like they called Romney a tax cheat, with no proof. I love how the left screams and shrieks to stop the bullying, but they are the biggest bullies around.
Carney is not a elected official. Carney provides press releases. If you don't believe him, don't listen to him.
I don't know if I would call him a liar or just not aware of the world around him, including what is happening with the administration. This has to be the most unaware administration I have ever seen or the most dishonest. I don't know which is worse?

The point is that he has no proof and he is heading up the hearing, the best way to lose any semblance of bipartisan support is to make a dumb statement in advance of the hearings. If he wants to be respected he could act a little more senatorial rather than acting like a someone arguing on CD.
Most didn't believe that Romney wasn't a cheat, just that he wasn't being forthright releasing 2 years of returns. What he was doing was perfectly legal just like Apple but would have been nice to let us know what islands were the beneficiaries of his money.
Wasn't Alinsky the second baseman for the cubs? Next time just say attack the source and yes Issa has a credibility problem that is separate from the issue at hand.

Issa knows he's being lied to, but there's a gentleman's conceit in Washinton that you can't call a liar a liar. You have to use all these bs tactful phrases, but after awhile, with all the deceit coming out of the Obama administration, I suspect Issa just decided to call it as he and most of the American public see it.
Issa is just ramping up the rhetoric because his "investigations" are going nowhere. So, to placate the tea party crowd, he has to at least toss out some cheap insults. Otherwise, they'll call him a weak RINO.
Check out what the IRS employee from Cincinnati has to say. Expect to hear and read this stuff for the next couple months as IRS employees start realizing they could lose their jobs or even go to jail. Then the good stuff will start coming out and we'll soon find out who is lying in this administration.

Or maybe they are going somewhere, and he knows they are lying.
Well being called a liar is preferasble to be called a racist as several legislators have done, the latest, being Fredericka Wilson.
Issa should know that lawyrs never lie, they just rely on the official language of the USA, legalese, with interpretive and literal definitions for words and phrases that in the simplest terms cannot tbe understood by the average person.
So sure, liar is a poor word choice for eridite lawerly legislators but it fits in perfectly with the 2nd official language of straight talk. A language most normal, non lawers can understand. To them, Carney lied. To the lawyers, Carney referred to some other question he thought he heard. He didn't lie. Just like Holder.
Imagine having a herd of lawyers spend days trying to figure out if Holder 'lied'. that gives you a good idea as to how disenfranchised the electorate is from the legislators and how their world works.
So yep, Carney lied.
Issa's infraction carries less weight than Wilson's charges of racism. Selective media coverage gives the okay to Wilson as social justice ramblings coming from a Dem are expected and endorsed.
You can't argue with that truth. Jay Carney has been caught telling so many lies you can't even count them. He's a worthless liar just like his scumbag boss.
Every time Carney takes to the TV cameras he has a different story to offer, with different twists on events, yes, he is a paid liar. He is not stupid, at some point he is either aware he is being lied to, and fed false information by his boss, or he is in cahoots with the entire campaign of misinformation, and yes lies, that he is telling to the American people, whom he works for.
