They didn't. It was already legal. The Congress tried to make it illegal but the courts said they couldn't.

What, making campaign contributions that cannot be traced? I believe that it is illegal for any foriegn entity to donate in a presidental election but because of their assinine ruling they made it possible.

All contributions to campaigns must be reported. Please learn what you are talking about before making arguments.

You believe wrongly.

Obama campaign accepted foreign Web donation -- and may be hiding more

The Obama campaign’s apparent lack of safeguards makes it possible to violate the law, says a report released by the Government Accountability Institute, a Florida-based watchdog group.

The report found that one Obama site — Obama.com — gets almost half of its traffic from foreign computer addresses. The site directs users to an Obama donation page.

That's interesting insight. According to the article, it appears that Romney played strictly by the rules while the Obama campaign did not. Any gliches in the system were blamed by the Obama people on “a minor technical error,†(an error that enabled them to collect millions in donations from donors who provided no ZIP code or incomplete ZIP codes, according to data posted on the Federal Election Commission Web site) and then continued to solicit for enough $$ to stay just under the legal threshold.

Why am I not surprised.

This is his IRS, DOJ, EPA, FBI and all of the other alphabet-soup bureaucracies; he appoints their leaders, and he is ultimately responsible for all of the transgressions which have come to light recently as a result of dubious behavior from his subordinates.

For him to say that he wasn't aware of any of these episodes until he saw it on the TV news or read about it in the newspaper is an absolute lie, and anybody with an IQ higher than their shoe size knows that.

Given the nonstop stream of lies coming from him since he took office on everything from the stimulus to the Benghazi massacre (would Ike or JFK have abandoned our troops as sickeningly as he did?), there's no doubt that he's lying again, just like he lied about his 'if you like your healthcare you can keep your healthcare' whopper.

Funny how Bush is blamed for the Iraq war, that Congress voted on and relied on data he was given, yet Obama has no responsibility for anything because he knows nothing about it. I wonder how long we'll have to wait for him to understand the responsibilities of his office.

But we are a nation of apathetic idiots that don't read the news and don't know about current events.
Obama has been saying for 4.5 years he's a victim of Republican backlash.
So Americans just shrug when the Republicans accuse the administration of wrongdoing.

Then you have people like Cummings that start off investigation hearings with talk of the Republicans just going on wasteful witch hunts.

Yes, the Republicans are just so hateful, aren't they, going after Democrats when they do something outrageously wrong or downright illegal. Can't they just be nice about it and move on?
