I heard that's where Obama will be heading after he takes his last dump on America.

Why don't you get a head start and catch the next plane out.

And they protect your butt everyday. Obama is throwing them under the bus with all the others he threw there. You accept his talking points hook, line, and sinker. Sad.

"Former Speaker of the United States House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi has stated that the CIA repeatedly misled the Congress since 2001 about waterboarding and other torture, though Pelosi admitted to being told about the programs. Six members of Congress have claimed that Director of CIA Leon Panetta admitted that over a period of several years since 2001 the CIA deceived Congress, including affirmatively lying to Congress. Some congressmen believe that these "lies" to Congress are similar to CIA lies to Congress from earlier periods"

Early grade school teaches there are 7 continents, Africa being one of them. There are 54 countries belonging to the African Union.

Seems they have enough to warrant the US expanding it's "nation building": oil, diamonds, gold, iron, cobalt, uranium, copper, bauxite, silver, petroleum and cacao beans, but also woods and tropical fruits. Much of its natural resources are undiscovered or barely harnessed.

Don't worry, at the rate the US is going, they will run out of Middle Eastern countries and be able to focus on ALL the countries in Africa. That should keep the US busy for at least a century.

Lets not forget this. Why is this not being reported
April 29 (Reuters) - Tens of millions of U.S. dollars in cash were delivered by the CIA in suitcases, backpacks and plastic shopping bags to the office of Afghanistan President Hamid Karzai for more than a decade, the New York Times says, citing current and former advisers to the Afghan leader.

The so-called "ghost money" was meant to buy influence for the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) but instead fuelled corruption and empowered warlords, undermining Washington's exit strategy from Afghanistan, the newspaper quoted U.S. officials as sayin

(I haven’t noticed the Republicans clamoring to spend more on embassy security–which would be a matter of substance, happily embraced by the Administration. But that would require a budget deal, which would give the President a win.)

In fact, the Republicans are now, according to the Washington Post, back in their standard dilatory mode when it comes to producing a budget agreement because–wait for it–things are going pretty well in the deficit department. With recovery, there are higher tax revenues (up 16%) and lower government payouts for services to the unemployed, and the deficits are melting away. So the Republicans believe that they’ve lost their leverage to reduce government spending.

Yet the village idiot has racked up the largest deficits in history.. Go figure.

If the real issue here is the safety of Americans employed at foreign offices, then why are the Republicans not lobbying like crazy for increased funding for embassy security in hostile countries?

Or are they simply remaining consistent with their previous policy of voting down any increases in funding for embassy security?
