I think this Benghazi episode will prove to ruin her chance of successfully running in 2016. I think she booted it, and used her injury to stall questioning. Since then, she has suggested that everyone should just move on, which only makes it worse.
Even if she is innocent of any wrong doing, her actions afterwards make her look guilty. The Republicans will be unmerciful in crucifying her.
I hope she runs because I intend to mercilessly refer to her supporters as racists like they were called back during the 2008 primaries. That's just too much comedy pleasure to pass up.
Where does Rep Issa, and the keyboard commandos here on CD get the idea that the US has squadrons of F-16s flying all over the place and special forces that can be dropped on any square inch of the planet within hours? Military logistics don't work like that.
People can (rightfully) hem and haw all they want to about the security screw-ups leading up to the attack and the glossing over the administration did afterwards, but the truth is this is nothing but political theater. If anything, these hearings are broadcasting our logistical weaknesses and area of operations for terrorist to use in future attacks. Did Al Qaeda know that the closest jets were with a carrier group in Italy, and that we had CIA operations in Benghazi? Well, they do now.

Certainly, you can't expect me to take seriously anything that comes out of the Washington Times. It hardly requires additional mention that while "congressional investigators" seemed anxious to leak those claims last week, the hearings themselves did not fulfill them.
What happened to the last general to dare to speak ill of his highness Obama? Oh yeah, he was retired (read fired). McCrystal/Rolling Stone ragizine wasn't it?
Any General knows and so does any soldier that you do not go out into a public platform and bad mouth the POTUS. And i was never in the military. As Commander and Chief would you have put up for it?

1. Why the available military assets were told to "stand down" during the attack?
2. Who ordered these forces to "stand down"?
3. Why was the commander of Africom fired after this?
4. Why did Hillary tell Hicks she agreed the consulate should be evacuated, then denied the evacution?
5. Who over-ruled Hillary?
6. Why did the White House ignore the warnings of the Libyan government?
7. Why, despite the requests of Hicks, was the FBI investigation of the site delayed 18 days?
8. What communication did the State Department have with Obama?
9. Why did Rice perpetuate the "video" lie, even when it was clear this was incorrect?
10. Who told Rice to make the talk show rounds espousing the video lie?
11. Did Obama have any direct communication with Africom?
12. Did Panetta have any direct communication with Africom?
13. Why have those who wrote the 'official" White House version of Benghazi refused to testify?
Since you already know all the answers, just share them with us. You can save the tax payers the trouble of the congressional hearings.
