Right, I can't get a ticket at last minute because no one's riding them! Silly me, I thought that was because they, you know, were sold out!

So, Iran is denying involvement and trying to turn around the blame according to NPR. But that's not surprising.

If I'm not mistaken they (RCMP) said that these tools had contacts not just in Canada and Iran but the U.S. as well.
Thankfully many have not been too too bright and been able to be duped by undercover cops. Before the crowing starts about "they were highly educated so they're obviously bright" there's a big difference between book and street smarts.
I certainly hope the rest of "the believers" (or belibers) are just as ignorant.

Congrats to the RCMP for cracking this one, neither side of the fence needs more economic trouble or deaths.

Now my question to the Canadians on here, in Canada what do y'all do with people like this? How harsh of a punishment should they expect to get?

Have to wonder....did the "Temples of Syrnix" refer to the government in Ottawa? Given some of what's come out of there, it seems possible. Or perhaps DC.

Quote:
...'The massive grey walls of the Temples rise from the heart of every Federation city. I
Have always been awed by them, to think that every single facet of every life is regulated
And directed from within! Our books, our music, our work and play are all looked after by
The benevolent wisdom of the priests...'

We've taken care of everything
The words you hear, the songs you sing
The pictures that give pleasure to your eyes
It's one for all and all for one
We work together, common sons
Never need to wonder how or why
Sure seems like a description of a powerful, socialist government.

The Iranian connection is certainly no surprise. Iran is one of the most tightly controlled police states in the world. Al Qaeda's presence there is possible only with the regime's approval.

The Iranian regime works by proxy. From Assad to Hezbullah to Hamas to Al-Sadr. The Revolutionary Guards themselves are active helping Assad, training Hezbullah, and were active in Iraq. The army of Hezbullah is in effect part of the Iranian military. Lebanon is Iranian-occupied.

Agents of Iran are also in Yemen, Bahrain, and Afghanistan. Recently they were caught in acts of terrorism in India, Georgia, Thailand, and Azerbaijan and Nepal. Their proxy has been identified as the murderer or attempted murderer in attacks in Bulgaria and Cyprus.

I don't understand how antipathy toward the US on the part of some people leads to defending such a despicable regime.

Oh my goodness, if you're looking for logic behind what get's posted on here; you are way off the reservation on C/D. You'll find more logic at a PTA meeting for parents of grade three's.

Not much news about this in the U.S. media.

They're either waiting to confirm that it was some imaginary white Tea Terrorist, or, if it's Islamic terrorism again they'll ignore it, bury it, or republish the usual "we must not jump to conclusions otherwise we're being racist Islamophobes" apologist editorials.

Have any of you read about how these criminals were caught?

Muslims who became aware of their extremism informed the RCMP about their concerns.

I clearly recall the days when the IRA was responsible for many criminal acts of terrorism but it's funny that I don't remember millions of people hating on the Irish? Why is that do you suppose?
