Americans understand the basic principle of cost vs. benefit. Conservatives, in particular, are keenly aware that the cost to society in terms of Constitutional degradation far outweighs that of a few lives saved (the benefit). Liberals, on the other hand, simply don't care. It's an emotional thing to them. The Constitution is of no matter.

Yes. A firearms registry. Democrats swear that the legislation does not allow that. They have yet to provide proof of such language. If you can find it, please post it to the forum. Thanks!

I'm sure people who are planning to kill people will obey a law that requires they go to a gun dealer and run a background check before acquiring a stolen gun.
