I think the primary reason people are so critical of Israel is that they don't like Jews. They believe Jews are fundamentally untrustworthy and will stab people in the back to get ahead. I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of people on C-D grew up listening to their parents or others gripe about the "d--- Jews". I heard that talk more than a few times in my life.
Conversely, Evangelical Christains tend to be pro Israel to fulfill their fantasies of the end of the world and second coming. Those who buy int this also tend to believe the Jews will be given the opportunity to save themselves -accept Jesus as their lord and savior before the end. They certainly don't want Muslims messing with this divine plan.
Then there are the Aryan sects who hate Jews and Jesus because Jesus was a Jew.

I've never met a Jewish person I didn't like. I think it's very unfair that any criticism if Israel is seen as antisemitism. I'm critical of the government, not the people.
Abortion in Israel is legal under certain circumstances, subject to the approval of a committee for pregnancy termination.

A termination committee approves abortions, under sub-section 316a,[1] in the following circumstances:
The woman is younger than seventeen (the legal marriage age in Israel) or older than forty.
The pregnancy was conceived under illegal circumstances (rape, statutory rape etc.), an incestuous relationship, or outside of marriage.
In Israel, capital punishment is currently allowed only during wartime and only for genocide, crimes against humanity, war crimes, treason, and crimes against the Jewish People. Last one was in 1962.
Not to mention that you get fat. I took this crap when I first met my husband and packed on 5 pounds for every shot. That doesn't sound like a lot, but 3 years later, I was packing around an additional 40 pounds which is *very* difficult to get rid of.
Whether anyone wants to admit it or not. Israel is the most racist nation on earth.
