The "fiscally responisble" republicans trashed this country than obama came and now suddenly Obama led us to $16 trillion in debt and downgraded our credit which btw if read why it was downgraded it was because of congress's inability to actually work together and raise the debt ceiling. Our loss of prestige happened before obama even got into office we've been losing prestige for sometime even before clinton it started waning bush jr just pushed it that much faster.

Im very disapointed in our resident leg-humpers. normally we can cant on the "blame bush post" to pop up in the first five responses.

Whoa there. The housing fiasco was started by Clinton forcing banks to make subprime loans to unqualified applicants. In June 1995 President Clinton introduced his National Homeownership Strategy, which included the expansion of Credit Default Swaps (CDSs). And guess what? Barack Obama led the effort that caused the mess that needs cleaning up. Barack Obama was a pioneering contributor to the national subprime real estate bubble because of his landmark 1995 mortgage discrimination case against Citi Bank. The results of National Homeownership Strategy are millions of foreclosures. Clintons Subprime Social Engineering experiment lead to the real estate market collapse and Great Recession (2007-12) that we are mired in today, and will be for several more years.

Ask Don - he is the one who compared Lincoln to Romney.

In todays world the conservative hating intolerant left thinks it is fine to burn or pee on the American flag claiming free speech but gripe and whine when the right uses the American flag upside down to protest once again showing a hypocrisy so deeply rooted in hate for conservatives

You compared Lincoln to Romney - and went off on an irrelevant tangent.

So I countered with an equally irrelevant comparison between Kennedy and Kerry.

If you want to stay on topic - then do so.
