Press Release from Senator Beth Bye
Yeah, that will work just as all the current laws work.

"USA Today[LEFT] - The ex-convict who lured firefighters to his burning home in Webster, N.Y., and then shot and killed them had an arsenal of weapons, Police Chief Gerald Pickering said Tuesday.
William Spengler, 62, "was equipped to go to war," Pickering said.

I thought it was ILLEGAL for felons to have weapons!

And not so antique firearms. The only way I can buy non-toxic shotshells (required for waterfowl hunting) that I want to use here, in the heart of waterfowl hunting by the Chesapeake, is to mail order them from Mack's or Bass Pro.

Gun laws aren't about keeping us safe. They're about control. If it pi$$es off a gun owner liberals like it.

Just like the people who roll thier own cigarettes to avoid the tax?

Taxes are about REVENUE people, not safety.
Congress sees $$$$ in this.

Require the registration with state law enforcement officials, and the biennial registration renewal, of all firearms by model and serial number;

Institute a 50-percent sales tax on the sale of ammunition and firearms magazines;

Require a permit to purchase ammunition;

Prohibit the online purchase of ammunition;

Prohibit the purchase of ammunition in Connecticut by anyone who is not legally authorized to possess a firearm in Connecticut;

Prohibit the storage of firearms and ammunition in a manner that allows access by persons under age 18.

I wonder how many pistols have a "pistol grip" under the action of the weapon?

I chalk this nonsense up to free speech. It won't pass constitutional muster.

In other news, look for my new drive-thru ammo stores opening soon in Rhode Island and New York.
NOW that will fix the problem---having a 50% sales tax. I am okay with the other items, but dirtying up this bill with an attempt to limit assault weapons by a 50% sales tax on ammo does nothing but more revenue for gov't spending on pork items

Do the idiot liberals really think that these crazy killers care about how much their ammunition costs?? Clearly liberalism is a mental disorder.

How many gun owners cried foul when tobacco was unfairly taxed and was prohibited from being sold on the internet, paid for with a credit card, or transported by Fed Ex, UPS or the USPS? Hmmmm?

"And then they came for me......"

LMAO
