Looking at it again today, I see that the initial shock is wearing off. This is not me saying great or crap, its just an observation. I still see outrage but now even the people who want to ban semi autos are saying that its gong to take a few months to get things ready and we will have a new congress and the outrage will have died down some. I just do not see the momentum strong enough to pass any ban. Maybe a back ground check but not a ban. So all you guys running out to pay twice value for an AR, Wow are you getting a screwing. LOL

Great! I'm sure you'll be happy to pay more taxes to help fill the obvious gaps in our mental health system, correct? Thanks for your support!

Your thread won't go too far I don't believe because different people have differing opinions on what is defined as an assault weapon.

That being said, a 15 round magazine for a 9mm pistol could be considered an assault weapon because of the capacity, as it is also a semi auto weapon like a AR 15 is.

I predict your poll vote majority would be a NO answer.

We'll have to pass the ban to see what's banned.

The dingbutts voting for and who are for those bans don't have a basic clue. Stuff I learned when I was only 5 years old.

It pathetic an adult is so clueless.

No to the ban. Yes to arming certain teachers, principles, etc. And post signs outside the schools to that effect.

Well all of us will have to forge out a solution to deal with the vast numbers of mentally ill wandering the lands of America. The way that is working out isn't logical at all.

The mentally ill have the same rights anyone else has. What they don't have is their right surpassing anyone else's rights.

For too many years these retarded people have been lied to and told they are special. That doesn't mean the get to take guns into schools and shoot everybody.

I can see how they might think it's ok since about 1/2 of Americans don't mind the killing of innocent babies, but the hundreds if not thousands every day.

But it won't just be gun owners funding what to do about the mentally ill.

I don't support any sort of gun ban...

There is not one evil gun on this earth, only evil operators...

There will be no ban..... Obama, as usual is tawkin' out his ass. The best he can do is make some stupid executive order. Yawn.......

If congress tries they will all go home and in the meantime just create a bigger mess.

Then go home.....
