Of course. Most anti-gun politicians want to restrict gun ownership for you, me and the rest of the unwashed masses, not themselves.

This guy wants to run in my district where our corrupt congressman Jackson had medical issues (which I think was bs as he is corrupt). Chicago politicians want to outlaw guns for everyone but themselves and gangs (they love gangs).

Anyone know if the guy is a legit security guard or if he just filled out the paperwork to skirt the Chicago handgun laws?

Regardless, there are thousands of guys walking around Chicago with illegal concealed carry right now.....mostly gang members. I'm just sure that once they make guns *extra* illegal they will of course stop carrying them.....just like they would stop selling crack, heroin, meth etc. if they ever made those illegal.

Side note: 80% of Chicago murders are gang related.

What kind of security guard chooses a .25 ACP? He should be locked away for felony stupid for that alone. He's a worthy successor to Jesse Jackson Jr, though.

And BTW, what's a 65 yr-old state senator doing working as a security guard, you might ask? When I lived in Chicago years ago, I learned that there were all kinds of part time gigs that the politically-connected would take on to allow them to carry. Most of them court-related, but I guess security guard qualifies too. It would be interesting to know what work he actually did for the company. How many hours, and so forth.

For the average Joe, there's no such thing as legal carry in Illinois.
