Why isn't the GOP laying out specific spending cuts to entitlements they would like to see?
Isn't the better question, why isn't the President asking for what he ran on? He said he wanted $800B and would put spending cuts on the table. Instead, he now wants $1.6T in new taxes and an additional $60B in spending. So how can the GOP lay out anything?
It's the same old song and dance. Obama wants gridlock and he's on the bully pulpit again. He won't follow through on his promises and blame is the safest game in town.

The Republicans have little to no power, but are supposed to be the adults in the room. Meanwhile, the potus is getting ready for a 20 day Hawaiian getaway.

The GOP has control of the House. The GOP can filibuster any piece of legislation in the Senate. Don't give me that crap.
Obama needs to come out and specify what spending cuts he will sign into effect. There's no point in the GOP proposing any cuts when Obama has made it clear he will veto them and in fact has much more spending in mind.

You can't even have an honest conversation when Obama is involved. He's clearly said he will veto any spending cuts that help the poor, students, middle class, and senior citizens if the GOP is unwilling to raise taxes on the rich. He's saying that the GOP doesn't get to get 100% of what they want and they shouldn't. They lost seats in the House and Senate and we retained the White House.

This is Obama's administration, and he is the one who should propose a plan to balance the budget and cut the deficit. Why do you liberals constantly harp on the Republicans to "DO SOMETHNG!!!" when Obama just sits on his hands, does nothing, and then blames someone else for the problems which he refuses to address?
The goofy left has convinced the public that raising taxes on the wealth will solve all the problems,...will cut the deficit and balance the budget. The government can tax everyone into the poorhouse, but it will not address the fact that well over 50% of yearly spending is on giveaway programs, social security, and "entitlements".
You people on the left elected this buffoon to solve the financial problems,..but he has no plan. Obama just blames others for his failures, promotes one group against another to foment constant turmoil, and uses every conceivable opportunity to use the fake "emergencies" that he has created to gain more power.
Only dimwits cannot see Obama's agenda. Obama is not serious about trying to pull this country out of its economic decline. He's only interested in gaining more power over the masses by scaring the living hell out of the ignorant takers in our society. Romney was right. He could not compete with Obamaclaus........
