Few progressives know how gutless Obama is and how he craves to be liked by the elites that own this country.
I detest extremism. The stand off between the two ends ought to stop (or we can count on having two parties that are no different in effect).

1-Are you worried about the debt and the deficit?
Yes.

2- If not why? At what amount would you be worried?
N/A

3-If you are worried about it, how do you want us to get out of it?
I think President Obama's plan spells it out fairly well. The question is, are YOU aware of it?

you keep saying this. I even saw where you posted a link. I tried to read it. It gave me tired head and it was long on words and not so long on specifics.

I dont suppose you would give us all the cliff notes?

Your best bet for cliff notes is to head to "I hate liberal media media". Its designed for people like you.

Can you explain that further? Who are the extremists on the left here?

Two main characteristics:
-No compromise
-Radical stance built on absence of realism

This applies to BOTH extremes.

Ok based on that link i cut 459 billion by 2015 more than the 418 billipn projected shortfall. 52% was tax increases and 48% was spending cuts

I cut foreign aide in half, elimminated earmarks, cut pay of civilian fed workers by 5%, other cuts to fed gov, reduce nuke arsenal, reduce miltary to pre iraq size, reduce troops in iraq and afghanistan by 60,000, malpractice reform, soc security age to 68, reduce soc benifits for high incomes, tighten disabilty eligibility,

Then new taxes were lincoln-kyl,bush tax cut expires for over $250,000, payroll tax increase for over 106,000 (would affect me), millionares tax, eliminate loopholes(bowles-simpson)

Anyone do any better? Now i wish obama care was on that site!

There is nothing on the left in terms of budget priorities that is considered radical. It ALL enjoys popular support.

And why should the majority of Americans compromise for the sake of compromising?

Let these GOP knuckle draggers in the House not compromise, it will raise taxes moderately for all, then you can work on lowering taxes for the middle class.
