I know in the aviation world(defense and commercial) many left California to move to South Carolina. I am sure many more after the last cuts in California will be headding to mobile, Alabama.

Just noticed that the right-wing media source used in the original post refers to the U-Haul Index of 2009. Talk about desperate!

The latest U-Haul Index clearly shows California cities as some of the most popular in the country. In fact, two California cities - Oakland and San Francisco - are higher on the list than the most popular city in Texas (Dallas).

It's the conservatives leaving CA to the liberals who can stew in the cesspool they created, just like the people from CA who keep moving to Idaho who are even more conservative than most in Idaho.

....and I'm sure you have facts to support this assertion? It's certainly not the case with the East Coasters moving to North Carolina and Georgia turning them blue.

I didn't read the links but I wonder if it accounts for movement within the state as well as interstate.
