Not all red states either. New York and New Jersey would bring a lot of baggage with them!

The real proof in the pudding would be if they can get the 25,000 signatures to make it mean something.

Hmm. I seem to remember Bush being called a war criminal, a breaker of the Geneva Convention, AWOL from the National Guard, etc. etc. Every transgression, real or imagined, was basis for impeachment.

The Blue States made a joke about seceding from the Union too (Jesusland map - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia).

The vast majority of the 48.27% of the population who didn't vote for Bush in 2004 eventually moved on.

I expect the same will be true for the 47.87% who voted for Romney.

That said, it's possible the malcontents who think Romney lost because he wasn't conservative enough might not ever be happy again. The GOP leadership (and pundit Hannity) is already intimating that they're ready to deal on immigration reform.
