We know they have different platforms and beliefs based on how they campaign, but do they really govern differently? I'm trying to figure out if there's really a difference in how they make legislation.

Nope. They both want to destroy freedom and liberty. No difference.

there is a difference.

both the republicans and democrats seek to destroy the freedom and liberty of the individual citizen, and to make goverment larger.

but, republicans like to borrow and spend, and the democrats like to borrow, tax and spend.
both parties are just hungry for more and more power. this problem is something that only term limits of all politicians and judges can cure.

Term limits cannot even solve that.
Lobbyists and special interests have to be severly curtailed from influencing legislation.

Also the Federeal reserve needs to be audited and the results released to the public. This should happen on an annual basis at least.
