The media has done nothing but protect Obama for years.
If Obama loses, the Left will blame the media, saying that the media lied about Benghazi. But, the truth is out there.
Romney is likely to win the foreign policy debate too. The media won't be able to change the story because too many people will see the debate live.
The Democrats who have benefited from the softball coverage of Obama - will blame the media for his loss.
But the media can't protect him anymore. No one trusts the media. All the pain Obama has caused will ensure his termination. But Democrats will say the media unfairly started negative reporting on him. None of the mess we're in right now is Obama's fault according to the Left.
No, the liberals will NOT blame the only allies they have left.
They will go back to their old standbys as they always do, and blame 1.) unspecified Republican skulduggery (see: Vast Right-Wing Conspiracy), 2.) Democrats didn't get their message out completely enough, and 3.) The stupidity of the American people.
The liberals know that the media must occasionally do a few things right, to preserve at least a shell of respectability so that when sensible people point out how biased and left-leaning they are, they can shout, "But look! WE got the journal of Ambassador Stevens and published it, when the government never made a move to do so!" ...and other such unusual acts, however few and far between they are.

Good point Little-Acorn.
I would say this though. In their hearts, many will blame the media. Democrats everywhere just cringe when they hear the words "Benghazi" and "cover-up". They couldn't care less that the administration lied to the American people, but they are filled with rage that Obama didn't get away with it this time.
After Obama Loses - Watch The Liberals Blame The Media
I realized a few months ago that's what the have D Wasserman-Schultz for. If it goes south they'll just eject her... actually, she knows there's already a replacement.
If Romney wins, it'll be interesting to see republicans supporting the same reckless spending they've attacked. If Obama wins, it'll be interesting to watch Republicans blame it on everyone but themselves.
In all reality, either a Romney or an Obama win doesn't mean anything to me. My job profile is in high demand, and I don't fear my employment or the money I make.
Keep blaming a president for your problems, and you'll keep failing.
Wingnuts have always been whining about the media. Your boy Rush Limbaugh has made his career out of being a victim, in addition to being a fat, obnoxious drug addict.
And if Pres. Obama were to lose this election, liberals/adults will not blame the media. But wingnuts will when Romney loses.
If Obama loses, it will have little to do with Benghazi and almost everything to do with the economy.
Not really. Maybe yes to Benghazi specifically, but the lies and coverup surrounding Benghazi will play a part in how people vote.
