OK, so we have lots of money for turtle bridges, Obama phones and Solyndra but not our service members and their families?

Speaking from experience, our government has ALWAYS nickel-and-dimed the men and women of our armed forces. For some reason we have to spend trillions on a gigantic military that then goes Empire-building around the world, but every penny spent on the actual service people is begrudged. I guess bombs and planes are more fun for our corrupt politicians to shop for, just like Special Interest payoffs of taxpayer dollars are the best way to finance your campaign.

Our military could be 1/1,000th its current size and cost, and take care of those who give their lives to the service, if only we insisted that our government control its borders instead of war-mongering and making enemies that maximize the terrorist threat permanently.

obamacare has to be paid for somehow. He obviously thinks that the military needs to give more money to help others and that senior citizens have it too good also since he is taking $716 billion away from their Medicare benefits to give to others.

Think about the logic. They're putting their lives on the line and on hold and the government is worried about them paying more for their "benefits". Then gives them a hard time getting care when they get out.

But like Kissinger said, "Soldiers are just dumb animals."

That's how the elite who use these people to build empire and make money for the "Millitary Industrial Complex" view the people who are doing the grunt work. Kind of like how a lot of corporations view a lot or most of their employees, just a bunch of suckers to be used to buy another property or another yacht. Desperate people who are dependent on other people to supply jobs and wages to get shelter and eat are a great asset.

More than your welfare recipient, more than your UE recipient and more than most other civil servants.

I agree 100% the fed misuses those who serve. The job of the military is to defend this nation, the United Staes of America against all enemies both foreign and domestic.
Duty in Haiti? Nope.
Nation building in Libya? Nope
nation building anywhere? Nope.
UN duty? Nope.
