He would, in fact, have to earn $120 to buy those $60 sneakers.

I'd give 2 to 1 odds these serial right wing crybabies, are living on fixed incomes, and one check away from being broke.

They get an ego boost from pretending they pay all these taxes, when middle calls taxes are a 50 years lows.
The poster said he's paying tax on his labor which means he's working. Not retired living on fixed income.
And those living on fixed income, one check away from being broke would be part of the 47% that get back all their Fed income tax.

It is. Any citizen who makes over a certain dollar amount is taxed at a higher dollar amount on what they make over that set amount. No matter who they are.

Your entire philsophy appears to be based on the childish notion that taxes are a "penalty". I find it hard to believe sometimes that full grown adults have so much passion based on a belief that most 12 year olds are mature enough to see the fallacy in. We need taxes to run the government. They are going to come out of someones pocket, including yours, and including mine. Get over it.

Well thats a bizarre, uneducated, feeling you have there.

Because all over the World, throughout our Nation's history, we've taxed those who earn more at higher rates.

That's the MOST COMMON way of taxing people. IT'S NOT DONE ANY OTHER WAY - ALL COUNTRIES HAVE PROGRESSIVE TAX RATES

Only from this strange, cult of right wing, middle aged to elderly, white, males complain and whine about higher taxes on the rich.

It comes from being scared, having low IQ, lack of balls, and thinking someone will throw them a bone if they worship rich people.

BS. Property taxes are usually flat (same percentage) across all in a property class (e.g., residential vs business). Sales tax is flat. State income tax is flat in most states. Flat taxes are the MOST COMMON way of taxing people.

Progressive taxing was established in 1913, during the Progressive Era, by Woodrow Wilson.

No, it comes from being scared, having low IQ, lack of balls, and thinking someone will throw them a bone if they worship the king, who is our government.

Oh! You thought I said there were no flat or even regressive tax rates?

That's a shame. You should learn to read better.

The silly insults about lazy liberals is just that....how "naive" The Repugnants didn't build this country alone....

And NO one wants to raise YOUR taxes....but everyone, including your only god, The Wealthy, should have to pay their fair share. If your only god, The Wealthy, paid more YOU could pay less.....you have to make up for all that hidden income in the Cayman Islands and Swiss bank accounts.....

Would you put those sneakers on your credit card??? If you did your "personal responsibility" failed.

It's probably even more than that since the sneaker company paid taxes that you never see.
