I have discovered that Democrats live on a different planet in some alternate reality. In their alternate reality, if they don't like the fact that simply act as though the fact does not exist.

Lets call their planet...planet Obamatopia in their alternate Universe. In this alternate universe, the jobs report is true because it makes Obama look good...so it must be true. Understand that they have no concept of the fact that the employment statistics only reflect people currently in the labor force, and that once people drop out, they're no long counted as unemployed. If everyone currently unemployed simply dropped out of the labor force, the unemployment rate would be zero, despite the fact that all these people would still be jobless. Of course facts don't matter on planet Obamatopia, all the matters is that their manufactured President looks good.

On planet Obamatopia, no polls favoring Obama are to be questioned. Never mind the fact that polls can be inaccurate due to sampling error or they can be manipulated to produce a desire result. If the poll favors Obama, it is never to be questioned. Those are the rules on planet Obamatopia.

On planet Obamatopia any news media that reports a story that is favorable to a Republican candidate or is critical of a Democrat candidate is controlled by some rich corporatist puppet master i.e. the Koch Brothers behind the scenes so all of the news that is favorable to Republican ideology can be completely discounted and ignored.

On planet Obamatopia, man made global warming is real because Democrat Party operatives masquerading as scientists who are paid to fabricate scientific evidence of global warming say it is real. Never mind the fact that not only is there no scientific evidence to support global warming, but all of the evidence proves it to be false. To the Democrats on this alternate reality, they can completely discount the consensus of the real scientists because they must be controlled by oil companies, and oil companies are a threat to Democrats' green energy schemes.

On planet Obamatopia, they believe that private property is a privilege, not a right, that can be revoked at any time by government for the good of the collective. Conversely, they believe you have a right to steal someone else's property if they make more money than you do. In Obamatopia, all rich people are rich because they exploited the poor, and all poor people are poor because they were exploited by the rich. Individual merit never enters the equation.

In the alternate universe, they believe that Christians are on a holy crusade to conquer the world one uterus at a time, while Muslims are a peace-loving religion who must be given Carte blanche to behave however they want irregardless of obvious conflict between their religion and our values, traditions, and institutions.

Anyone can take a trip to this alternate universe. All you need to do is just watch ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, or MSNBC and never do any independent investigation, and if you hear some facts that do not jive with your ideology...just ignore them, they must be biased.

I'm rather indifferent about it.

It's funny because dems and repubs say the same things about each other ultimately.
