Some of you people really need to try actually thinking once in a while. It really is very enlightening when you use your brain. You'd be surprised how informed you can become, and armed with real facts to support your arguments.

Lawyers have a saying: "If you've got the facts, pound the facts. If you don't have the facts, pound the table."

I see a lot of lefties doing a lot of table pounding here on C-D.
Oh, but you're wrong. For many years I listened to Rush on the radio and also watched Fox news as a primary news source. Thank goodness I broke myself of that and got back into the real world. I couldn't believe how much more pleasant the world was without all the fear mongering and distortions. Never did agree with Rush, as he has been an extremist from the very beginning.

Right now I get the local paper, the WSJ and watch CBS or PBS for National news, besides what I read on the internet. Find I don't have near as many knee jerk 'the sky is falling' reactions as I may have once had. Good day.

Marxist/socialist? He is. And he was a member of the Chicago New Party (socialist). There is much documentation on who Obama is for anyone wanting to vet him, which the press has not done, and will not do. But the information is out there.

His childhood mentor was Frank Marshall Davis, a communist, and he associates with communists and Marxists. Even Valerie Jarrett is likely a communist, or at least a communist sympathizer, as her father-in-law, Vernon Jerrett, was a communist.

So, conservatives are "hateful," and leftists are tolerant and love everybody? We certainly don't see that, given what they have said about Sarah Palin, Michele Bachmann, and other conservative women.

And you claim that on a thread that is hear calling Rush Limbaugh a racist, bigot, and pig?

Amazing.

However, there have been many minds changed by Rush, and they have called his show to tell him their stories.

Why does the left think that they have the only valid opinion, and the only opinion that is right?

By the way, you don't know what "dittohead" means, and where the term came from. It does not mean that we are "parrots" of Rush. Never did.

Denying that is ridiculous.

Bachman and Palin have shown themselves to be foolish in front of national audiences. No one needed to ever amplify that.

Are you replying to my post or just flying off into phony outrage land?

Ah, it's phony outrage land.

Why does the right think they don't have opinions, but rather an edict from their favorite god?

Do, too.

That's exactly what it means.

"Megadittos!"

So, let me get this straight, you listened to Rush for many years, never agreed with him, but when you stopped listening to him, your world became more pleasant?

Geezzzz.....you must have the "I sat in the church of jeremiah wright for 20 years, but never paid attention" syndrome.

Rush commands an army of angry rednecks who hang on his every word, of course his opinions are influential.

Acknowledging the power and influence someone has doesn't mean you agree with them, that's something stupid teabaggers don't grasp.

When Limbaugh sneezes the right wing world catches a cold. If Limbaugh says something you can guarantee it will be parroted in millions of homes and internet sites within weeks if not days.

It's scary how many people get indoctrinated by Limbaugh. It's not unusual in the area where I live to walk into a business and hear him on the radio. I told my dentist that I wouldn't be coming back if he plans to continue playing him while I'm in his chair. Thankfully, he hasn't played Rush since. I really didn't want to change dentists but I would have. There are several restaurants I won't go to anymore.

Rush's painting Obama as "hateful, violent and angry" sound's more like a description of himself.
