From another discussion about the rally against free speech while researching the publication of one the major figures at that rally who is the editor I came across this editorial:

Quote:
The Arab American News - We need the truth on 9/11

Most importantly of all, this history must be corrected. Why? As MSNBC host Rachel Maddow said this week on her show, we have been living as a nation for 12 years with the planted misconception that lack of intelligence was to blame for the tragedy of 9/11. Decisions on how to prevent a recurrence are thus based on this misconception.

This is how our civil rights are being slowly taken away from us. If the government admitted they were at fault for 9/11, they would lose the power to do whatever they want to us.
How is that for some spin?

The supposition is that the Bush Administation failed to act on intelligence these attacks was going to happen and their failure to act on that intelligence is why they are to blame. No mention about blaming the 19 terrorists who flew the planes into buildings.

According to many Muslims; 'No State of Israel = No 9/11'

If you read the Quran, it says to kill those who don't believe in Allah and Islam. Many fundamentalist follow the order of what is written in the Quran unfortunately.

1) how many "Quran as litetature" classes have you been in?
2) how much time have you spent reading the Quran?

You don't have to have taken many classes or spent lots of time reading "Mein Kampf" to know how bad it is overall.

Yes, Mohammed instructed the Muslims to slaughter the infidel, kill them where ever they find them and also forbade Muslims from living among the infidel except for the purpose of conquest.

Does it make any difference? Not even muslims agree on what the quran states.

1) How many muslims have read the quran?
2) How many take as fact whatever they are spoon fed in their mosques?

Taking anything seriously that comes out of maddow's mouth is the epitome of stupidity but then again, people in the middle east are not known for their intelligence.....

If you are summarizing the Quran in this manner, then you have never read it with full understanding of it. You need to take the time to learn the differences of the Surahs written in Mecca vs Medina. Fundamentalists choose certain Surahs to follow that fit their agenda and drop others that conflict with that agenda as unimportant.

The following link isn't perfect, but it covers certain points that need to be understood:

....and the Bible says that if you cut down the tree on a Saturday, take you back out to the forest and kill you.

Its okay to sleep someone and then drive a spike through their had while sleeping. . and you should take an eye for an eye.

So unless you have read it. . .I just don't count your "knowledge" as nothing more you heard from your friends talking at church. Which isn't a lot.

All of these "religious" books teach you how to kill, and when its okay. . .and slaves are fun.
