This nation supplies weaponry and money to the Israelis. Speak softly and carry a big stick. If your nation has an issue with Iran, you can do the dirty work.
We must support Israel but never allow Netenyahu to push America into a corner or decide our strategies.
I agree with you sir. Weapons and money is supporting Israel. We supplied the Afghans with weapons and money and they beat the Soviet Union. It's time for Israel to do the same to Iran. It is their issue.
It is not just about Iran and Israel, it is about instability in the entire region. It is a much bigger picture than the OP points out.
I believe that is justification for US involvement. That region has always been unstable. Put a few US Naval ships to keep the strait open and keep the gas lines flowing and let Israel handle the actual dirty work!

This is a problem that should be sorted out by the actual region involved.
The Arab league of nations do not want Iran with a nuclear weapon but are quite happy letting America sort their problems out for them.
Obama should now do what he did in Lybia............. let the World know that THEY are involvd in this too. Why should America be alone in cleaning the World's mess up..... that is why we are today the target of virtually everyone.
We are NOT the policemen of the World and if the rest of the World do not want to get their hands dirty..... why should we............ stamping our feet and trying to be "Rambo" does nothing but cost us lives and money and makes us the focal point of hatred.
I can honestly say part of it is campaign oriented. I think he wants Romney as President, and is willing to saber rattle to try and make the current President look weak.
Israel is afraid that if we wait much longer, an already hard task will become impossible. In fact, most experts who know anything understand that Iran's nuclear program is wide spread, in entrenched, hardened facilities. Its almost a 30% or better chance that we will fail in our mission of taking it out completely.
And you can rest assured, once we do attack, they'll go hard core for a weapon. So why chance it until you have to pull the trigger? Wise man once told me pulling your gun out is like pulling your dick out, you don't do it unless you intend to use it. If Iran goes for a bomb, or they get to that red line that OUR President says is there, we should do nothing.
In all honesty, why should we give a **** if Iran gets a nuclear weapon? Are they going to use it? No. It secures their borders. They can't take out Israel with the small amount of material they have, and we would most certainly end their existence shortly thereafter if they did do that.
I mean seriously, its not like Iran can take out the United States, they could even give a terrorist a nuke it would be the end of their world, not ours. They aren't that stupid.
If Iran did get a bomb then dropping millions of leaflets telling Iranians that if a launch is made against Israel or any of our allies then the west will completely destroy Iran. The people of Iran will not want to die for this nut job running their Country............. he would be out in days.
Why should Israel be allowed to have nuclear weapons while demanding that other countries can't?
Iran would be foolish not to develop nuclear weapons, it would be much better to be like Pakistan instead of Iraq when you are in the sights of the neocon warmongers.
