On Wednesday September 12, 2012 blogger Speak With Authority discovered that five days before 9-11, the US State Department sent out a memo announcing no security threats against the United States on the anniversary of 9-11.

The Overseas Security Advisory Council, who posted the memo, is part of the Bureau of Diplomatic Security under the U.S. Department of State.

Here is a screengrab of the memo at the OSAC website:

But now it’s gone.

The State Department scrubbed the letter from its OSAC website.

How convenient. They flushed the memo down the internet memory hole. Dan Riehl has more.

We heard the reports about the chaos at the State Department.

But we had no idea they were scrubbing documents.

The saddest part is that the protest in Cairo was announced on August 30th.

Then there are reports that the Libyan Embassy was warned of an attack 48 hours prior (a Libyan Security person says he personally warned them)

Even still.....wouldn't it be logical that you'd be on heightened alert and beefed-up security on the anniversary of 911 in a volatile place like Libya anyhow?

The film the White House is blaming has been online for Months so that isn't the real reason...only the one the WH wants you to believe.

Al Qaeda issued a statement today that the film had nothing to do with it and it was all about the drone killing of one of their leaders.

So again....you just took-out an Al Qaeda leader....isn't it common sense that they'd want revenge?

So hiding the fact that while State knew of pending attacks they did nothing to protect Americans then in order to CYA they detained a guy who made a cheap video about the guys who murdered U.S. Citizens in the Middle East.

When taking office, the President does not swear to create jobs. He does not swear to “grow the economy.” He does not swear to institute “fairness.” The only oath the President takes is this one:
I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.
