It doesn't matter which country is the aggressor, answer is based on the pair.

The winner (or loser, depending on how you look at it) of last weeks poll, "Which Country is the Biggest War-Mongering Menace to the World" is Israel, with a 40% plurality of the vote:

In order to have a world war, there have to be at least two competing great power alliances, the precedent having been set during WWI and II, now where are the competing great power alliances today? Their is NATO and then there is... NATO. The Chinese nor the Russians are all that eager to form any sort of military alliance so who is going to fight in this global conflict?

PS - two countries do not a world war make.

You're still thinking in terms of countries/nations when in reality the same people control groups of nations. The exact makeup is hard to determine though.

Very few countries are willing to actively oppose the Zionists (control Israel/to a large extent the USA and other nations).

Nations would do oppose their rule or attempt to bring things into being that they don't like are quickly put down. A perfect example is Gaddafi who tried introducing a gold backed African currency that would of lefted the Zionist controlled banking cabal's fiat currencies exposed. They took care of him in short order.

Also the interesting case of Iraq, where every excuse and lie was made up in order to invade them. Iraq was a long time enemy of Israel, you don't have to be a brain surgeon to come to the logical conclusion.

LOL @ "Germany/Poland." Really? Two NATO members might fight each other and cause Armageddon?

But seriously, it's not difficult to imagine the U.S. getting sucked into an Israel v. Iran war, which would free our frenemies Russia and China to pursue mischief in other parts of the world while our backs are turned. Maybe not exactly World War III, but definitely unpleasant.

The question isn't "which countries would be involved in WWIII" it's "which duo would start WWIII". With the exception of maybe Japan/S. Korea, if any of those countries went to war then much of the world would fall in line with one or the other. You don't need great alliance to start a world war when the enemy of my enemy is my friend.

really wars have already been fought between say Israel and Egpyt and the world did not break out in WWIII.

Use your brain a little, a true world war 3 cant happen. If it did the planet would become uninhabitable and we would probably all die eventually from the consequences of hundreds of nuclear blasts.

There won't be a WWIII. Anything that would resemble what is traditionally known as a world war, would be nuclear in nature and only last a few hours.
