1964 voting rights act changed the whole game. Dixiecrats were close to retirement, death, etc. and without the south, the dem party would be nothing. So minority majority districts were created, a bone given to the civil rights establishment. JFK got the AA vote bc he had his Dixiecrat buddies release dr. King.

If anything if JFK were still alive he would be close friends with Ex-POTUS Bill Clinton and current POTUS
Obama , and looking forward for Mrs. Clinton getting her crack at the White House.
Conservatives like Charlleton Heston marched with dr. King. I never use the term liberal bc it's a lie. Progressives were very racist suck as woody Wilson and Margaret Sanger.

I wonder why I never saw a picture of Charlton Heston and Dr. Martin King together , surely Dr. King would've had him right beside him for the photo opportunities. However he did march in Washington DC and I will honor him for that , however nothing that I said is untrue , and all Rep were liberals when Dr. King was one - and as a matter of fact all of you Conservatives called Dr. King A Communist.

It's already 2012, and the country appears to be poised to reelect Obama, were the election held today.

If you think California will vote for Romney/Ryan, I've got a nice big red bridge to sell you.
