Obamacare didn’t plant the seeds of revolution or secession. There’s been a lot of lip service given to this silly notion but no one is really that dumb to attempt it… Have you forgotten the outcome of the last secessionist movement? No state will be allowed to just succeed from the union…
So you agree there is nothing at all wrong with Jindal's and other states opting out of Obamacare. I hope my state opts out.

The Supreme Court did not rule that states need to implement Obamacare. In fact they specifically left in tact their ability to do so..

Nope, president Romney could issue an executive order the first day instructing that the tax not be enforced.

Even better, they only need to repeal it by a majority vote, since thats how it was passed.

My state, Florida, has opted out so we wouldn't be saddled with $1.9 billion in taxes each year. Wht a monstrosity this is.

What's really good about that for the people of your state is that now more can choose not to buy any health insurance but if they come down with something serious, just go to another state, get on the Obamacare insurance as they can't be refused now for preexisting conditions.

Nobody cares. He can implement it or not. But the residents of his state are probably going to question why they are not getting the benefits of something they are paying Federal taxes for. Why doesn't he drop the state out of Medicare too? That way it will leave more for all the other states.

He could but why would he? ObamaCare is a copy of RomneyCare. I want to see him try to wiggle out of that one.

I might do that. I never go to doctors, no one in my family gets sick, I've never called in sick to work --- yet I'm paying these pretty large premiums but never meet the deductible, so I end up paying out-of pocket for whatever the rare time I've taken a kid to a doctor.

I have insurance for "just-in-case" but it's pretty costly. Hopefully my state will opt out, I could drop my insurance policy and continue to pay out-of-pocket for the little things but if someone does get sick, then it would be easy enough to move that one to an Obamacare state and then buy the insurance. No more mess about pre-existing conditions. What a deal!

I'm starting to like this Obamacare -- especially because I live in a state that just could opt out!
