It might be an insignificant stat.....Obama can make history again on the heels of the dumbest voting base this country has ever seen.
Didn't FDR clean up the great Depression mess that the Republicans caused? That big mess took a long time to repair also.

The Great Depression was a severe worldwide economic depression in the decade preceding World War II. The timing of the Great Depression varied across nations, but in most countries it started in 1930 after the passage of the United States' Smoot-Hawley Tariff bill (both Republicans) (June 17), and lasted until the late 1930s or early 1940s. It was the longest, most widespread, and deepest depression of the 20th century.

No, he actually made it worse, and the series of recessions known as the Great Depression had many causes, including advancements in manufacturing -- like assembly lines. Assembly lines increase efficiency and production, but result in unemployment.

And pukipedia? Can't you find a better source?

Time to look at the updated obama stimulus chart.

Oh dear...how could they have got it so wrong?
Because they are stupid.

I just did a comparison of National Debt and GDP since 1996.

Since 1996, your National Debt has increased 119.5% but your GDP has only increased 40.08% over the same period.

From 2001 on, it's even worse: the National Debt has increased 101.51%, but GDP has only increased 17.49%

And then we have Obamadaysâ„¢. The Boy Kingâ„¢ has increased the National Debt 39.88% and for his efforts we have gotten a dismal 2.45% increase in GDP.

If we divide 39.88% by 2.45%, then we get a ratio of 16:1 in deficit spending versus GDP increase.

In other words, you have to increase the National Debt by $16 in order to increase GDP by $1.

That does not bode well, and it proves that The Boy Kingâ„¢ and his Minionsâ„¢ don't understand economics.

Even that wouldn't be so bad, except that they're too stupid to understand that there is no relationship between GDP and jobs. An increase in GDP does not correlate to an increase or decrease in employment.

Economically...
