It is now time for the Congress to determine who will continue to run the government, the Executive or that branch and Congress. I just hope that they don't back down on this or they will be nearly completely irrelevant, like it or not.

AG-Holder has not yet been charged with contempt. The citation has been drawn up, that is all. This is the first formal step, nothing more. Unfortunatly, I doubt Speaker Boehner has either the spine or the pair to follow through.
I hope Holder gets buried UNDER the jail....he totally deserves it. But I expect this to go the way of the Cheney and Bush "citations" that were drawn up by Kucinich....which, ironically, were squashed by nobody other than Nancy Pelosi and friends.
Congress is filled with career politicians whose first priority is getting re-elected--over and over again. Very few of them, one either side, care to rein in an administration-gone-wild, no matter who or when. The last time Congress showed their fangs was with Watergate.

I agree. And while IMO Holder and the DOJ deserve all hell for the mess they created, this will portrayed by the MSM as strictly an election ploy by the GOP to make the Obama administration look bad. Which is a shame.

He has been "charged" in public with this behavior, a precursor to legal charges being filed. He has ignored a subpoena from congress to produce documents which is the basis for legal action.
Don't get so hung up on how you interpret words, look to the meaning.

At 3:26 Chairman Issa leaves Holder and the Obama administration an out.....
Too much "go along to get long" in the Speaker. He is faced with an opposition that is gutting our country, and he want's to worry about decorum. Slap Holder in Irons.
Regarding people found culpable in that inquiry, he said, "I can assure you those people will be removed from federal service."
So far we don't know who authorized the program, nor have any heads rolled over it. We still don't even have a reasonable explanation of why the program was done. Holder's self-imposed deadline just happens to fall about 3 months before the Nov. 6 election and hopefully he'll get lots of pressure to meet that deadline.
