I hope the bill gets passed they are trying to get passed this is outrageous.
According to what I read in the article she wasn't fired for refusing to hand over her password. She was fired for something she posted on Facebook.

This thread is not only more than 3 years old, it was started on April Fool's Day and the article it's based on has an April 1, 2012 date as well. I smell an April Fool's Day joke.

If this wasn't a bogus article, then firing her for what she posted on Facebook could very well be reasonable (I think the article said she posted a photo of a co-worker in the bathroom or something). Firing her for not giving up her password just didn't make any sense, which why I remain skeptical about the whole thing.

So speaking of a lawsuit...from an article in Dec 2012 8 months after the incident.

After being allowed back, she said the hostile work environment caused stress, and her doctor put her on leave. The school fired her in August, saying she didn't show up to work.

So school districts (still the bastions of union representation, BTW) are....Republican corporationists? Where's the rolling-around-on-the-floor, laughing smiley? The things you learn on these boards!

P.S.: Someone missed the recent exposé on Amazon--you know, where that OTHER Republican corporationist, Jeff Bezos, oversees a substantial number of employees who are either crying in their cubicles, or when they leave for home.

Liberal clowns are so good for a laugh!
