That's what happens when you invest in money and take risks.. money simply doesn't fall into your lap for doing the same thing...

Not sure why there is a surprise. Economy tanked and the rich were able to buy even more. Economy is recovering and what they bought has increased their wealth.

I have an idea. Maybe invest yourself and get rich too. It can start with one stock. You are either in the game or not.

People need to stop reporting the obvious and do what it takes to join the 1%. Then let articles be written about you

The only "bloodsuckers" are the professional parasites of ACORN and the like .....

and, of course, professional liars like little Mikey Moore who make a good living repackaging lies and selling them to their dysunctional groupies.

The majority of us try to scrape out a lifestyle of our own choosing by whatever means works for us. if we've made a couple of right decisions, we might have a litlle capital in stocks, mutual funds, or a rental property, and we want Barry-O and the WonderPets to keep their grabby hands way from it.

And there's one other benefit we enjoy that you don't. When that disorganized, demanding geezer shows up, expecting all kinds of personal attention at 1950's prices, we can either politely turn him/her away, or charge a price he/she doesn't like, but doesn't have to pay.

Have a nice day!

I have had steady employment and own stocks and bonds but I am not all that rich. I wonder why not if doing all these things is a certain way to riches.

2nd trip dreams of a time that never was and a way to riches destined to fail.

Sounds to me like I scored a point ot two; the fact that you had to fire off a siimple, short answer just demonstrates your frustration.

The people stuck down there in the "service economy" have made their choices, and they're stuck with the results until they wise up.

Then I'm rich...because I bought a lot of stocks when they were at the bottom.

Bitter because you didn't act on it?
