They aren't synonyms so no (plus and is A-N-D), I can't follow the logic that crams them to be the same thing.

Actually, these two, uh, movements can be put on a spectrum, by being placed neck to neck on the same end. Both are pseudoscience motivated by intolerance, bigotry and closed-minded xenophobia. While creationists don't openly propose to gas the Gypsies, mentally unfit and other subhumans, lots of folk who subscribe to creationism openly refer to the non-members of the club (for example gays) as "an abomination before the Lord." The "Lord" no doubt being the Intelligent Designer, a.k.a. the Aryan God of the Chosen Nation, also habitually invoked by Hitler and the KKK.

PS. OP's problem may be that s/he confused eugenics with evolution, which simply states that random mutations increasing the odds of survival in a given environment are likely to be passed to the next generation, and takes absolutely no sides as to the superiority of any living creature over another.
