He is the historical leader in Crony Capitalism. And he told us he would have an open and ethical administration. Failure in chief.

Big donors considering whether to work the phones raising money for President Obama’s reelection campaign might consider the fate of his 2008 bundlers. Many of them, it turns out, won plum jobs in his administration. Obama campaigned on what he called “the most sweeping ethics reform in history” and has frequently criticized the role of money in politics. That hasn’t stopped him from offering government jobs to some of his biggest bundlers, volunteer fundraisers who gather political contributions from other rich donors.

More than half of Obama’s 47 biggest fundraisers, those who collected at least $500,000 for his campaign, have been given administration jobs. Nine more have been appointed to presidential boards and committees.
At least 24 Obama bundlers were given posts as foreign ambassadors, including in Finland, Australia, Portugal and Luxembourg. Among them is Don Beyer, a former Virginia lieutenant governor who serves as ambassador to Switzerland and Liechtenstein.

You can take the slimeball out of Chicago, but you can't take Chicago out of the slimeball.

This is what modern day liberalism believes, that mankind is incompetent and we need rent-seeking rulers to make our decisions (Republicans fall into this same trap).

I still don't understand how a country who claims to be free relies upon a father figure and a band of 535 misfits to determine how they can act.

However, most Americans are ignorant and fall into this trap that they have power because they vote for father head combined with a representative who shares their belief, along with 700,000 *******s.

We've had a nanny state for so long that most think it's a normal form of government.

Economic Fascism

http://www.lewrockwell.com/dilorenzo/dilorenzo85.html

Quote:
The essence of fascism, therefore, is that government should be the master, not the servant, of the people. Think about this. Does anyone in America really believe that this is not what we have now? Are Internal Revenue Service agents really our “servants”? Is compulsory “national service” for young people, which now exists in numerous states and is part of a federally funded program, not a classic example of coercing individuals to serve the state? Isn't the whole idea behind the massive regulation and regimentation of American industry and society the notion that individuals should be forced to behave in ways defined by a small governmental elite? When the nation's premier health-care reformer recently declared that heart bypass surgery on a 92-year-old man was “a waste of resources,” wasn't that the epitome of the fascist ideal — that the state, not individuals, should decide whose life is worthwhile, and whose is a “waste”?

He's got a lot of people to pay back for the privilege of being able to get into the highest office in the USG without any experience. That alone must have taken a lot of $$$$ and a long list of people he "owes".

Obama is addicted to it, he takes daily slimeball injections. We need to convene an intervention, for his own good. How does November work for you folks?

Go here for literature on the subject of interventions. Drug Addiction Intervention

Not on a scale of this magnitude. Obama has funneled about $100 billion worth of crony capital into green energy alone, and he laughs off failures, as we saw with many of his venture corny capitalist schemes, with a cavalier attitude of "win some, lose some".

The CEO of GE, Jeff Immelt, is the chairman of Obama's Council on Jobs and Competitiveness. Before that, Immelt was on Obama's Economic Recovery Advisory Board. GE paid zero income taxes for 2010, and last year they paid 2.3%, but GE still receives tens of millions of taxpayer dollars for their employee early retirement program, and they receive federal subsides and contracts for green energy projects.

Energy Dept Approves $1.3 Billion Loan Guarantee For 845-MW Wind Farm

The U.S. Department of Energy said Thursday it has approved a partial $1.3 billion loan guarantee for an 845-megawatt Oregon wind farm being developed by Caithness Energy LLC and a unit of General Electric Co. (GE).

The Caithness Shepherds Flat wind project will install 338 high-efficiency GE wind turbines on land in Arlington, Ore., in what will be the largest wind farm in the world, the DOE said.

It just never stops...

What?

Are you saying that right-wingers hate big corporations?!?!?

But all the RWs on this forum support unto death the right of corporations to do just whatever they want! Corporations are people! They are the job-creators!

Just love the hypocracy..I guess corporations are only bad when there is a Dem as president...LOL
