The Girl Scouts, at least when and where I grew up, were always a second class organization to the Boy Scouts. The Boy Scouts had a wonderful new building built as their HQ, they had camps and went camping, they always seemed to have the "money". But my poor little brownie troop got hand-me-down stuff, we never went anywhere, never did anything except sling those cookies!!
My mother, who was a Reagan Republican and very right wing, always commented how the Girl Scouts were treated so inferior to the boy scouts, it actually made her angry. Which was funny because she was not the type of woman to say things like that so lightly.

As an old Girl Scout (who still has my old uniform and badges) and as the mother of 2 women who were Girl Scouts (not to mention grandmother of the same) I thought I'd share what evil things the Girl Scouts are REALLY teaching girls. Really scary stuff.
