Police arrested about 300 people Saturday as Occupy Oakland protesters were thwarted trying to take over a vacant convention center and a YMCA but later broke into City Hall, where they burned a flag taken from inside.
Police arrived after protesters had broken into City Hall, stole an American flag from the council chamber and set it ablaze, the Oakland Tribune reported.
What is their message? Occupy what is not theirs? Destroy private property? Vandalize public property?

America haters.
They have nothing left, So they are going with anarchy to get attention. Burning the flag??? Disgusting. Yes, There are things that need fixing in this land, But it's our home-And I am proud to be here and so are us and others. I encountered this crowd as I am in NYC. it seemed like half of them were intoxicated and probably brought nothing to the table even before the recession and current hard times hit.

I predict there will be a certain poster come in here and say that it wasn't OWS protestors at all who were involved in this and that we have no proof of it. Just sayin....
