Whether he supported drug tests for those on welfare is irrelevant. That's a different issue. Good for him for sponsoring legislation to require it.
You do know that Alcohol IS a Drug, don't ya?

So this clown is not only a hypocrite but he's also a liar. I hope he gets jail time.
Did he ask for Welfare recipients to be tested for alcohol? Did he ask them to be tested for making bad decisions behind the wheel of a car? Or was he asking that they be tested for using illegal drugs?

He has this arse backwards. Drunk-driving is a serious problem in this country, so the money wasted on testing welfare recipients would be better spent on cracking down on drunk-driving, which kills and maims tens of thousands of people each year.

This will just hurt poor families. As if poor people are the only ones driving drunk, while countless sportsmen and celebrities get away with driving s**tfaced with little more than a slap on the wrist. The double standards are incredible.

They should be forced to always use coupons when they purchase food. Penalties would be applied to overweight welfare parents since they are eating to much and using up money that should be used for the children. Government needs to form a new department to oversee welfare parents to make sure they help their kids with homework.

Why do they have money for a movie if the rest of us have to pay their rent and buy their food?

What if someone gets drugs without paying for them? There are probably a lot of people who get 'free' drugs from boyfriends, girlfriends, other friends, sex partners, etc.

I'm all for it as long as EVERYONE getting a non-universal handout, benefit, or tax break is tested. e.g. as long as the homeowners paying lower property taxes (with their homestead exemption) are tested.
