Bill Daley Resigning: Obama Chief Of Staff Stepping Down
(January 9, 2011)

WASHINGTON — In an abrupt jolt to the White House, President Barack Obama announced Monday that chief of staff William Daley was quitting and heading home to Chicago, capping a short and rocky tenure that had been expected to last until Election Day in November. Obama budget chief Jack Lew will take over the job.
..

Daley, a former JP Morgan executive, to be replaced by this guy:

Jack Lew: Obama's OMB Pick Oversaw Citigroup Unit That Shorted Housing Market
(July 14, 2010)

President Barack Obama's choice to lead the White House budget office oversaw a Citigroup unit that profited off the housing collapse and financial crisis by investing in a hedge fund king who correctly predicted the eventual subprime meltdown and now finds himself involved in the center of the U.S. government's fraud case against Goldman Sachs...

There's no truth to the rumor that Pennsylvania Ave. will be renamed South Wall St.

And Obama and the democrats are different?

Six present or former high ranking officials in the Obama administration were involved in the banking, hedge fund, or financial industry. Rahm Emanuel, William Daley, Gene Sperling, Larry Summers, Peter Orsag, amd Jacob Lew. Appears Obama was doing some "coddling" of his own.

Funny how Obama flipflops about Wall Street,...one minute lambasting it as a scourge on society,....then admonishing everyone not to be "too hard" on Wall Street,...and then supporting the OWS. This administration is like a tall weed in the wind: it leans whichever direction the political wind blows.

Zerohedge had a good article about the banking bust and why none of the big banks/bankers were made to stand justice.

One theory is that if they did then it would expose the FedGov and regulators for having a blind eye to what they were doing and create an even bigger mess and would make the administration look rather bad.

Has some truth to it. I mean..they got Madoff who was a two bit ponzi guy yet they couldn't get anyone at Countrywide, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan or BofA ? They had a paper trail. Lehman went down because they couldn't get access to their funds..why and who withheld their access ?

Biggest banking crisis since the Great Depression/S&L and none of the big guys took a fall ?

And the latest..MF Global..the money is lost and no one knows where it went ? Impossible in this day and age of computers and Corzine walks ?

There's no flip flopping going on. What is being told to Americans about the evil banks is nothing but talk. Neither the President nor Congress did anything about what happened.
